About Unicorn
Unicorn was founded in Forest Hill, London, in 1937 by Frank (Ferenc) Lowy, a Hungarian-born engineer. Its first dart was the Silver Comet, launched the same year. The company is still run by the Lowy family.
Unicorn supplied the PDC's official dartboard for around 25 years, a partnership that ended in early 2022. Its player team is led by two-time world champion Gary Anderson and James Wade, as of October 2026.

Unicorn is best known for its Eclipse bristle dartboards and its signature darts for Gary Anderson, including the Phase 6 range. It also makes its own flights (Ultrafly and Ultrafly 100) and shafts (Slikstik and Premier), so a set can be kept to one brand from barrel to flight.
