The half-gram weights are the detail worth knowing. Several MVG barrels offer 21.5g, sitting exactly in the gap between 21g and 22g — a weight that only appears when a barrel is built around one player's preference.

The Adrenalin is the slimmest at 6mm for a 22g on 90% tungsten, where the 80% Aspire needs 6.6mm for the same weight. That six tenths of a millimetre is precisely what the higher alloy grade is buying.

The Aspire also has an unusually clean middle: its 22g, 23g and 24g all measure exactly 6.6mm, so two grams of range change nothing about how the dart sits in your fingers. Barrels run 50.8mm and 53mm across the ranges.
