Jonny Clayton Darts
Clayton's barrels are deliberately conventional — slim, parallel and centre weighted, sitting around 6.6mm to 7.35mm on a 50.8mm shaft.
The updated version carries a reshaped, slimmer nose, and the reasoning behind it is practical: less material at the front means less for an incoming dart to strike, which is where bounce outs come from when you are grouping tightly.
The Premier League edition marks his 2021 title and uses a full-length torpedo at 50.8mm — keeping the length means the swell behind the nose gives your fingers a shoulder without the width a compact torpedo would force. Centre weighted throughout, so the darts fly level rather than dropping.
