A sharp point bites the wire and holds, which is why a fresh set is one of the cheapest upgrades in the game and one of the most satisfying.

Length changes how the dart flies. Going from 26mm to 32mm moves weight forward and steepens the angle into the board, which is the direct fix for darts arriving flat. Surface does the other half: a grooved or knurled point grips the sisal and holds firm when another dart lands beside it, while a smooth one releases easily and makes pulling three darts out all night a lighter job.

Four interchangeable systems are stocked — Target Swiss Point, Harrows Quick Point, Winmau Switch and Mission R2.5 Rapid — each fitting its own barrels with its own tool. Fixed points for pressed-in barrels are here too.
