Nitrotech is Red Dragon's polycarbonate line, and the material is the sensible default for most players: flexible under a strike, no risk of seizing in the barrel, cheap enough to replace freely.

Polycarbonate also will not seize into a barrel thread, which aluminium can do if a shaft is left in place for months.

Supplied as a set of three.

Available in Short (36mm), Intermediate (39mm) and Medium (42mm). Longer options let the flight steer more, which steadies the dart and brings it in flat. Shorter options reduce that, so the dart responds more directly to the throw and sits more nose-down in the board.

If your darts land tail-up, try longer. If they are arriving flat and you want them sharper, try shorter.
