Shuriken - 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts

Coral PVD is not a colour many manufacturers are brave enough to put on a dart barrel, and the Shuriken carries it well. Mission have gone hard on finishes across this range, and the coatings are a genuine part of why these sell rather than an afterthought.

The 50mm barrel is straight with a tapered nose leading into a smooth black point, and a laser-etched Mission logo sits on the rear section. Grip comes from spiral rings cut with milled sections through them — spirals rather than straight bands, so the edges meet your fingers at an angle. That gives traction against the twist of a release as well as the straight pull, which is worth more than it sounds on a barrel that isn't especially wide.

At 6.3mm for the 22g this sits at the slim end, and it climbs to 6.8mm at 24g — a half-millimetre step across two grams, so the two weights feel noticeably different rather than nearly the same. Worth handling both if you're between them.
