Thirty-eight millimetres. The Arkitekt is the shortest barrel we stock by a clear margin, and picking one up is a genuinely odd experience — it's barely longer than it is wide.

Compressing 25.5g into 38.2mm has consequences, and they're all deliberate. The diameter has to go to 8.6mm, so there's an enormous amount of surface to hold. The mass sits right where your hand is, so the dart feels planted rather than delicate. And it carries momentum into the board in a way a long slim barrel doesn't, which forgives a release that isn't quite clean.

Worth noting the half-gram weights too — 21.5g, 23.5g and 25.5g — which is unusual and gives you options between the round numbers most ranges stop at.

Bomb profile, centre weighted, with a moderate 3 out of 5 grip — which is plenty on a barrel already this wide, since there is no shortage of surface to hold onto.
