Dimplex S3 carries a dimpled grip rated 5 out of 5 — the firmest cut Harrows make. Dimples work differently to rings or milling: texture in every direction with no continuous edge, so the barrel holds hard without one sharp band doing all the work.

This is the bomb profile, and it's the compact one — 41mm, nine millimetres shorter than the tapered version, which forces the width out to 8.6mm at 25g.

That combination is uncompromising. A 41mm barrel puts the mass right where your hand is, an 8.6mm diameter gives you an enormous amount of surface, and a 5 out of 5 dimpled grip holds all of it firmly. The result feels planted in a way almost nothing else we stock does, and it carries momentum into the board.

It's the dart to reach for if slim barrels have always felt vague, and the one to avoid if you like a light, clean release.
