The Dumbbell is the heavyweight, and the name is honest. Four weights from 26g to 32g, which puts it well above the 22g–25g where most of the sport sits.

Heavy darts do something specific. They carry momentum into the board and are far less disturbed by a release that isn't perfectly clean, so they forgive the small inconsistencies that creep in over a long night. That's why they suit a deliberate, low-arc throw — the weight does the work that a flatter trajectory would otherwise need.

The 53mm barrel is what makes those weights manageable. Holding 32g inside 7.8mm is only possible because the mass is spread over a long barrel; the same weight in a 44mm profile would run past 8.5mm and take up a great deal more room in the board.
